Strainer is a container that is placed on pipe line before suction opening of horizontal centrifugal pumps and it prevents impurities (i.e., unsolved particles in liquid) from getting into the pump. these impurities make the impeller unstable and damage the impeller or its mechanical seal by penetrating the pump. it is recommended to use this equipment for pumps that are operating in wastewater or other cases that may contain rocks or other unwanted objects. Abtin sanat manufactures this product from HDPE in three sizes: ASU 2, ASU 3 and ASU 6. Materials and sizes are customizable for customers that are facing various volumes and impurity types. Strainers are either basket type or certain type. Strainer mesh varies from 2 to 5 millimeters in diameter and it can be adjusted based on application. Three types of fitting are available: flanged, welded and thread fitting with various sizes.
